Class 2 Driver

Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of commercial and business supplies to various customer locations, including residential and commercial sites.
• Operate a Category C vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Perform deliveries to specific rooms or designated areas at customers' premises.
• Handle a variety of products during the delivery process.
• Complete full manual handling training provided by the company.

Work Schedule and Pay

This position involves working weekdays (Monday to Friday) on the day shift, with a guaranteed 40-hour work week. The hourly pay rate is £14.79, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Cat C driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points or any DD, DR, TT, or IN endorsement codes.
• Prior experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is essential due to the complexity of deliveries to customer sites.
