Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable Class C Driver to join our expanding logistics team at Hemel Hempstead. This role is essential in ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of goods while embodying a professional and customer-focused demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely delivering goods punctually while maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Following scheduled departure times and complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Loading vehicles properly and completing all necessary paperwork prior to departure from the depot.
• Utilizing handheld devices to verify proof of delivery.
• Maintaining clear communication with both the logistics team and clients throughout delivery processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience with multi-drop delivery routes and strong local area familiarity.
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to driving and goods handling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including overtime when needed.
• Physical fitness to manage walking, standing, lifting, stretching, and occasional heavy lifting responsibilities.
• Good communication abilities paired with basic skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.
• High personal integrity, dependability, and practical judgment.
