Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of claims with fairness, efficiency, and a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Conducting detailed investigations and gathering relevant information to facilitate well-informed decisions.
  • Accurately interpreting insurance policy coverages and limits.
  • Coordinating with repairers, assessors, and motor service partners to ensure effective assessment, repair, and vehicle recovery.
  • Controlling claim expenditures within the bounds of policy terms and delegated authorities.
  • Maintaining detailed, organized claims documentation in electronic formats.
  • Detecting and preventing potential fraud indicators.
  • Effectively managing recovery processes for claims.
  • Building strong working relationships with brokers, service providers, and internal departments.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including GICOP and company claims guidelines.
  • Communicating professionally and clearly at all interaction points.
  • Collaborating across underwriting, finance, compliance, and broker management teams to optimize claim fulfillment operations.
  • Actively pursuing personal and professional development opportunities.

Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 3 years of experience handling insurance claims, with motor claims exposure strongly preferred.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and mature judgement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as negotiation abilities.
  • Awareness of current insurance industry trends, risks, and regulatory landscape.
  • Knowledgeable in motor claims processes, including managing repair networks, total loss, and salvage claims.
  • Balance attention to detail with operational efficiency to ensure positive outcomes for customers.
  • Committed to ethical standards and adherence to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Relevant industry qualifications will be considered advantageous.
