If you thrive on managing multiple tasks, coordinating updates, and keeping customers well-informed under time-sensitive conditions, this position offers a great fit. The role is ideal for those with experience in property management or real estate administration involving organizing repairs, liaising with tradespeople, updating tenants or property owners, and maintaining accurate records.

As a Claims Home Advisor, your responsibilities expand to guiding customers through the claims process after damage to their homes. Day-to-day, you will handle various home insurance claims simultaneously, reviewing documentation, arranging repairs, responding to customer enquiries, and navigating claims through systematic workflows. Customers' emotional states may vary, so maintaining organization, clarity, and empathetic communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work full-time onsite at the Sippy Downs office.
  • Manage multiple home insurance claims by adhering to structured steps and daily priorities.
  • Communicate consistently and clearly with customers, especially those experiencing stress or uncertainty.
  • Evaluate documents, estimates, and reports to make honest decisions based on insurance policies and factual evidence.
  • Arrange repair services, pursue tradespeople, and ensure timely progression toward claim resolution.
  • Maintain detailed and precise records to ensure compliance and ease of claim tracking.
  • Efficiently switch between calls, emails, and software systems while advancing daily tasks.

Success Indicators

  • Accurate and complete notes that facilitate claim follow-up by colleagues.
  • Regular and transparent updates keeping customers well-informed.
  • Proactive follow-ups that keep claims progressing without unnecessary delays.
  • Decision-making firmly rooted in documented policy and evidence rather than conjecture.
  • Professional and calm communication maintained, even in challenging customer interactions.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonuses and annual reviews.
  • 22 days of annual leave plus additional volunteer leave for community engagement.
  • Engaging workplace culture featuring food trucks, themed events, and team celebrations.
  • Supportive leadership offering guidance, coaching, and pathways for career advancement.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives including free skin screenings, flu vaccinations, wellness programs, discounted gym memberships, and insurance discounts.
  • Meaningful work that aids customers in recovering after unforeseen events.

Additional Information

This employer values a human-centric approach to insurance, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a supportive environment for staff growth. Transparent management, ongoing recognition, and structured development programs are integral to the company culture, helping employees progress into leadership roles. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a role that balances responsibility, professional growth, and positive workplace engagement.
