About the Role

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster to remotely investigate, assess, and resolve insurance claims. This full-time position requires combining thorough investigation with empathetic communication to ensure fair and efficient claim settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review claim documentation, conduct interviews, and collect relevant evidence for investigations.
• Assess claim coverage, responsibility, and damages based on policy terms.
• Negotiate and finalize claims within given authority limits.
• Collaborate with lawyers, healthcare professionals, and third-party specialists as necessary.
• Maintain thorough and timely records of claim files.
• Guarantee adherence to applicable state insurance laws and regulations regarding unfair claims practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of an active adjuster license valid in your jurisdiction.
• Minimum of two years’ experience handling claims in auto, property, casualty, or workers' compensation sectors.
• Strong skills in investigation and data analysis.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication with negotiation capabilities.
• Experience using claims management software such as Guidewire or Duck Creek.
• Excellent attention to detail with disciplined record-keeping.
