Role Overview

This full-time, onsite position based in Bengaluru involves handling insurance claims comprehensively. The Claim Handler will be responsible for the entire claims lifecycle, including claim registration, documentation review, verifying policy coverage, and coordinating with assessors and other stakeholders. Daily tasks involve evaluating claim legitimacy, collecting and analyzing data from clients and partners, updating claim progress in internal systems, and ensuring prompt and precise claim processing.

Effective communication with policyholders, insurers, and internal teams is required to clarify information, resolve disputes, and facilitate fair settlements adhering to company policies and regulatory frameworks. The role also entails contributing to process enhancements, maintaining thorough records, and supporting compliance and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in managing end-to-end claims processing within insurance contexts.
• Strong understanding of insurance claims management, including policy interpretation and regulatory basics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Sharp attention to detail complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software or related insurance technology tools.
• Relevant experience in general insurance or claims processing preferred.
• Graduate degree in business, finance, insurance, or related disciplines advantageous.
• Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru, efficiently manage multiple cases, adhere to deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
