Civil Structural Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee structural engineering tasks on construction sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Primary Duties

• Examine and verify structural drawings, project specifications, and construction plans.
• Oversee structural construction elements including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs to guarantee execution aligns with designs.
• Ensure that construction work adheres to approved plans, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineering consultants, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
• Track construction progress, addressing any technical challenges promptly.
• Perform thorough site inspections and generate detailed progress reports.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Accumulated 3 to 5 years of practical experience working on construction projects.
• Solid understanding of structural drawings, field supervision, and quality assurance/control procedures.
• Competent in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication abilities, coordination skills, and aptitude for problem-solving.
