Civil Site Engineer - Building Projects

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily on-site construction tasks, ensuring that all activities comply with approved plans, technical specs, quality standards, and timelines in a safe and effective manner.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily civil construction operations at the site.
• Guarantee execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, supervisors, and the site workforce.
• Track progress, assess quality, and enhance productivity of construction efforts.
• Analyze drawings and technical documents, solving any site challenges.
• Perform site inspections ensuring adherence to quality assurance and control standards.
• Coordinate work with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Generate comprehensive site reports and progress documentation.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Possess over five years of experience in building construction projects.
• Preferably have previous construction experience in the UAE or GCC region.
• Exposure to high-rise, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is desirable.

Technical Expertise

• Proficient in building construction and civil works execution.
• Experience with structural and finishing works.
• Strong site supervision capabilities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent in QA/QC inspection and subcontractor coordination.
• Skillful in material inspection practices.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and BIM coordination is advantageous.
