Civil Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee and direct high-rise residential or commercial construction initiatives from inception through completion. The candidate must have a demonstrated capability in project execution, leadership proficiency, and hands-on expertise with Mivan formwork systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute construction projects ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead entire project lifecycle including mobilization and final handover.
• Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor daily site progress, ensuring achievement of project milestones.
• Create and assess project schedules, resource plans, and generate progress reports.
• Optimize and oversee effective use of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources.
• Coordinate activities encompassing structural, architectural, MEP, finishing, and other construction facets.
• Ensure all construction adheres strictly to approved drawings, specifications, and quality measures.
• Oversight of Mivan formwork activities—planning, execution, coordination, and cycle-time efficiency.
• Spot and address project risks, delays, and bottlenecks; implement necessary corrective strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
• Conduct routine site meetings; liaise with all stakeholders to troubleshoot project issues.
• Evaluate contractor performance, productivity, and quality of work.
• Track and support control measures related to project costs.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress records and reports.
• Provide regular project updates, challenges, and accomplishments to senior management.
• Ensure on-time project completion and successful handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8 to 12 years in the construction sector with at least 3 to 5 years serving as a Project Manager.
• Essential experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects.
• Hands-on Mivan formwork experience is compulsory.
• Strong knowledge of high-rise construction methods and project management.
• Demonstrated experience handling large teams, contractors, and diverse project stakeholders.
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and site operations.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proven competence in managing projects with tight deadlines and strong commercial awareness including cost control.
• Readiness to work onsite at project locations and manage operational requirements effectively.
