Civil Engineer

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer will oversee daily on-site construction tasks, ensuring projects are executed safely, accurately, and adhere to schedule requirements. They will supervise site activities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Site Supervision and Execution

• Analyze structural and architectural plans to direct construction crews effectively.
• Precisely plot site lines, levels, and boundaries to guide construction work.
• Delegate daily tasks to laborers and supervise subcontractor activities.
• Inspect reinforcement steel placement and formwork prior to concrete pouring.

Quality and Safety Oversight

• Verify the quality of building materials such as cement, sand, steel, and bricks through testing.
• Enforce safety guidelines by ensuring the use of protective equipment and compliance with safety policies.
• Conduct inspections to confirm construction work matches design specifications and industry norms.

Planning and Site Management

• Monitor construction schedules and identify any project delays.
• Manage the availability and organization of materials and machinery on-site.
• Address technical challenges encountered during construction promptly.
• Document daily progress reports and maintain comprehensive site logs.

Additional Details

Qualifications and Language Skills
