About the Role
M.A. Engineering Construction Pvt. Ltd. invites applications from skilled Civil Engineers with expertise in bridge construction for opportunities based in Anantnag district, Jammu & Kashmir. The position requires hands-on involvement in the construction of various reinforced concrete structures including RCC bridges, box culverts, abutments, and piers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute construction of RCC bridges, box culverts, abutments, piers, foundations, and allied civil structures.
- Interpret and utilize structural drawings, bills of quantities, and technical specifications effectively.
- Verify reinforcement details, shuttering works, levels, alignment, and concreting processes on site.
- Manage on-site activities including quality control, material testing, and ensure steady progress through daily monitoring.
- Coordinate with engineers from various departments, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel for seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate measurements, site documentation, and provide support in the preparation of running account bills.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience specifically with bridge construction projects.
- Preferable educational background is a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).
- Experience working on projects under PWD, PMGSY, NHAI, NHIDCL, BRO, or in highway bridge development is advantageous.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of bridge construction techniques and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and reinforcement detailing.
- Competency in shuttering and concrete placement methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for project drafting.
- Skillful use of MS Excel for documentation and monitoring.
Additional Information
Salary is negotiable and will be determined according to the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Location for this role is Anantnag district in Jammu & Kashmir.
