Position Overview

The Project Delivery Group (PDG) is an energetic team dedicated to exceptional project execution worldwide. Leveraging superior methodologies, governance, and systems, the PDG excels in sustainable studies, asset construction, operational efficiencies, and more. Our Civil Engineering department specializes in a diverse range of transport infrastructure projects including site selection and planning, earthworks, drainage and flood analysis, spatial data management, and digital terrain modeling.

We seek a qualified Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting road and rail infrastructure projects through all project phases. This role focuses on planning, designing, and delivering infrastructure solutions that meet client and regulatory standards with a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering designs related to transport infrastructure projects.
• Create engineering calculations, technical specifications, datasheets, and comprehensive design reports.
• Prepare material quantity estimates and bills of quantities.
• Engage in and contribute to design reviews both internally and externally.
• Review engineering drawings and coordinate with designers and drafters to ensure adherence to standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and authority requirements.
• Uphold quality assurance, safety standards, and reliable project outcomes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and possess approximately four to eight years of experience working on civil infrastructure projects, ideally within road, rail, energy, or mining sectors. Experience should cover bulk earthworks, site grading, surface water management, and earth structures.

Proficiency with civil design software tools such as OpenRoads, 12d Model, Civil 3D, DRAINS, CivilStorm, or CulvertMaster is essential, alongside familiarity with road authority standards. The candidate should be effective across both design and construction phases, demonstrate strong personal safety practices, clear communication skills, and be adept at engaging diverse stakeholders.
