Role Overview

The Civil Engineer role is based full-time on-site in the Riyadh Region. The position focuses on assisting with planning, designing, and implementing civil engineering initiatives. Key tasks include preparing and reviewing design drawings, technical specifications, and calculations for infrastructure development, site progress, and stormwater management systems. The engineer will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, conduct site inspections, track construction milestones, and enforce adherence to local regulations, safety protocols, and project specifications. Additional responsibilities comprise participating in project planning, cost estimation, and risk evaluation, alongside compiling reports and documentation necessary for project approvals and successful delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in civil engineering principles and civil engineering design.
• Practical experience in civil engineering, emphasizing project planning activities.
• Expertise in stormwater management techniques and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields; professional registration or qualifications considered advantageous.
• Capability to interpret technical drawings and proficient use of engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalents.
• Detailed knowledge of local construction codes and standards.
• Strong analytical thinking, organisational competence, problem-solving abilities, and a stringent focus on safety and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively among multidisciplinary on-site teams and external stakeholders.
• Prior involvement in residential, commercial, or industrial projects in the GCC is a plus.
