Role Overview

The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of their allocated category, working closely with sales and buying teams to ensure client satisfaction. This role involves extensive communication with buyers, overseeing sample coordination, cost management, product selection, and development support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations within your category area and maintain strong coordination with sales and buying departments.
• Develop and sustain positive customer relationships through frequent and direct interaction, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled effectively.
• Maintain the critical path schedules and production timelines to meet order deadlines.
• Coordinate with factories to track production progress, negotiate pricing, delivery dates, and order bookings.
• Raise purchase orders and oversee product costing and logistics information.
• Manage stock movement and forecast inventory levels accurately.
• Monitor supplier performance to optimize efficiency, order accuracy, stock management, and overall profitability.
• Undertake additional duties as required to support business goals.

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience working in merchandising within the fashion or related industries.
• Proficiency in the Chinese language, enabling effective communication with partners and suppliers.
• High competency in IT applications relevant to merchandising tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
