Job Overview
Join Hilton as a Chief Steward and become a key part of delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. This role entails managing all stewarding activities across the property, ensuring guests receive memorable service that brightens their stay.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage inventory controls by coordinating daily operations involving distribution, storage, and upkeep of essentials such as china, glassware, linen, and silver, ensuring availability and accuracy for smooth operations.
- Oversee maintenance and security of all food service machinery to guarantee optimal performance.
- Establish and enforce hygiene protocols, making certain that all food and beverage environments comply with the highest sanitation and safety standards.
- Monitor department expenditures and apply cost-reduction measures, maintaining efficiency and quality throughout stewardship operations.
- Lead and nurture the stewarding team by handling recruitment, training, performance assessment, mentorship, and recognition to foster a motivated and effective workforce.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations, promoting the well-being of guests and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Possess either a High School Diploma or a University Degree.
- Have at least one year of experience in a Chief Steward position.
- Hold any relevant licenses or certifications.
