Our mission tackles the traditionally slow and fragmented real estate market worth trillions by leveraging an "agentic-first" platform. Unlike conventional tools that only automate paperwork, Soar's platform focuses on autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents that actively perform tasks — sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, coordinating, and closing deals — with humans providing guidance and final judgment.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the end-to-end creation, definition, and scaling of this groundbreaking product from scratch. This position is ideal for a visionary builder passionate about creating whole new categories rather than optimizing existing roadmaps.

What 'Agentic-First' Means at Soar

• Designing products with autonomous agents as the primary method to accomplish work instead of merely adding chatbot features onto legacy systems.
• Developing interfaces, data flows, and trust frameworks built around these agents.
• Prioritizing outcomes over simple information presentation.
• Embedding trust, transparency, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms to maintain human control where necessary.
• Creating continuous learning loops where each transaction improves subsequent ones through data and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Articulate and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for an agentic-first real estate platform.
• Lead the product journey from initial concept (0 to 1) through scaling (1 to n) by shipping quickly, learning rapidly, and expanding strategically.
• Recruit, manage, and nurture a top-tier cross-functional team across product, design, and product engineering.
• Engage hands-on with advanced AI models, agent frameworks, and emerging technologies, conducting experimental initiatives often deemed risky or premature by others.
• Make bold strategic decisions with incomplete data, accepting accountability for all outcomes.
• Collaborate extensively with engineering, design, go-to-market, and executive teams to align on coherent product strategies.
• Maintain a strong user focus by continuously engaging with real estate agents, brokers, buyers, sellers, and investors to translate complex realities into delightful products.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record building and launching products used by real customers, preferably including defining the problem for new product initiatives.
• Highly creative and able to approach problems unconventionally with first-principle thinking.
• Experienced or deeply knowledgeable in applied AI, including large language models and agent technologies, capable of leading teams in this domain.
• Comfortable with risk-taking, decisiveness under uncertainty, and embracing constructive failure as a growth tool.
• Balanced strategic vision and hands-on involvement in prototypes, specifications, data management, and metrics analysis.
• Inspirational leader who attracts and motivates exceptional talent, elevating those around them.
• Operates with high pace and urgency, prioritizing impact over process complexity.

Additional Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, marketplaces, agentic applications, or AI research and development.
• Background as a founder or early-stage startup operator.
• Technical expertise to engage deeply with engineers on agent architecture discussions.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant products, prototypes, or experiments accessible for review.
