Job description

About the Company

Grid 2 Chip Pvt. Ltd. is a company specializing in AI infrastructure, providing critical data center infrastructure solutions. Their manufacturing facility produces Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) systems utilized in liquid cooling for high-density AI data centers.

Job Purpose

This position involves conducting chemical laboratory testing, supporting Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) processes, and performing chemical passivation tasks for stainless steel equipment and piping systems. The role demands adherence to stringent standards encompassing quality, hygiene, safety, and process compliance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute CIP and SIP procedures on stainless steel piping, machinery, tanks, and assemblies following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare and manage chemical solutions, especially citric acid-based, used for cleaning, passivation, and surface treatment.
  • Carry out routine chemical laboratory tests including concentration verification, pH, conductivity, and other relevant analyses.
  • Monitor CIP/SIP process parameters such as temperature, concentration, duration, flow rate, and pressure diligently.
  • Perform or assist with citric acid passivation of stainless-steel parts in line with customer specifications and procedures.
  • Conduct visual and chemical inspections before and after passivation, maintaining accurate records of chemical treatments and process outcomes.
  • Ensure proper verification of chemical concentrations, storage, labeling, preparation, and disposal of hazardous chemicals.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration logs, test documentation, and chemical inventory records.
  • Follow chemical handling protocols, usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, and workplace safety norms.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC, production, and engineering teams to analyze process deviations and help implement corrective and preventive measures.

Educational Qualifications

  • B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related fields.
  • Diploma or B.Sc. in Pharmacy or pharmaceutical lab experience may also be considered depending on the role.
  • Preferred prior experience includes stainless-steel passivation, citric acid treatment, CIP/SIP processes, or pharmaceutical cleaning validation.

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Between 2 and 5 years of practical experience in chemical laboratory environments, pharmaceutical manufacturing, stainless steel fabrication, hygienic piping, or process equipment production.
  • Proficient with chemical analysis tools such as pH meters, conductivity meters, titration apparatus, and solution concentration tests.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CIP/SIP methodologies, citric acid passivation standards, chemical compatibility, and contamination management.
  • Experience maintaining laboratory documentation including SOPs, test reports, batch, and process records.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with attention to detail and dedication to safety in the workplace.
