About the Role

Ezulwini Villa Hotel invites applications for a skilled Chef to become part of our culinary team at Seraphic Bistro. The role focuses on crafting exceptional dishes with outstanding taste and appearance while contributing to a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and consistently present superior dishes maintaining high taste and aesthetic standards.
• Efficiently coordinate food preparation and service for all meal times ensuring punctual delivery.
• Uphold rigorous standards of food quality, freshness, hygiene, sanitation, and safety.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, portion regulation, and minimize food wastage.
• Adapt to and accommodate special dietary needs and guest preferences.
• Lead and mentor kitchen team to ensure uniform culinary excellence.
• Analyze guest feedback to continually enhance the dining experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated progressive culinary expertise, including experience in senior positions.
• Background working in reputable hotels, resorts, or five-star restaurants.
• Deep understanding of cost management, budgeting, procurement, inventory control, and waste reduction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Track record of maintaining consistent food quality, presentation, and timely service delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Academic credentials such as a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery or equivalent.
• Membership in recognized culinary professional organizations is a preferred advantage.
