About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate a designated kitchen section competently.
  • Maintain and adhere to prep lists to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive kitchen culture aligned with the team’s values.
  • Support and mentor culinary apprentices to facilitate their development.
  • Engage with the kitchen garden for sourcing fresh ingredients as part of the food preparation process.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Ideal candidates will be at a Cook Development Program (CDP) level or equivalent, demonstrating confidence in section management and eagerness to collaborate within a growing kitchen team. A passion for helping younger chefs improve, as well as an interest in incorporating produce from the kitchen garden into the menu, is highly valued.
