Role Overview
The Chef de Partie will take charge of a kitchen section, playing a key role in preparing and serving exceptional dishes across various services such as conferences, banquets, weddings, private events, in-room dining, and staff catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality meals for events, room service, and the staff canteen.
- Manage and own your kitchen section throughout preparation and service periods.
- Collaborate with Sous Chefs and the Head Chef to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure all dishes comply with established recipes, presentation standards, and specifications.
- Maintain strict cleanliness, food hygiene, and health and safety standards.
- Assist with stock management, including controlling inventory, rotating food items, and minimizing waste.
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a cooperative and positive working atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
- Experience working as a Chef de Partie or an advanced Demi Chef de Partie in hotel, banqueting, event, or high-volume kitchen settings.
- A deep enthusiasm for quality food and exceptional hospitality.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- The ability to work productively under pressure while paying great attention to detail.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene regulations.
