• Lead and supervise bakery staff, including Commis Chefs, maintaining smooth operations especially when senior pastry leaders are not available.
• Guarantee cleanliness and hygiene across bakery areas, toolsets, and ingredient storage in compliance with food safety protocols.
• Continuously check the quality and freshness of raw materials and finished products, managing proper storage and stock rotation.
• Support cost efficiency by aiding in food cost management, waste reduction, inventory control, and achieving financial targets of the department.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards to protect team wellbeing and guest satisfaction.
