Position Overview

We seek skilled chefs with experience in various kitchen sections for an upcoming premium Indian restaurant located on Ajmer Road, Jaipur. The available roles include CDP focusing on Tandoor, Chaat & Halwai, DCDP handling Curry, Tandoor, Chaat & Halwai, and Commis specialized in Tandoor, Curry, Chaat & Halwai.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes adhering to standardized recipes and quality benchmarks specific to your designated kitchen section.
• Maintain uniformity in flavor, visual appeal, and portion sizes of food items.
• Ensure proper mise en place before the commencement of service.
• Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness protocols in the kitchen environment.
• Collaborate efficiently with other kitchen departments and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth service experience.
• Oversee inventory, work towards minimizing food wastage, and communicate shortages promptly to the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen personnel when applicable, particularly at CDP and DCDP levels.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated previous experience in the specified kitchen areas such as Tandoor, Curry, Chaat, or Halwai within restaurant or hotel settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of Indian culinary techniques and dish preparations.
• Ability to perform efficiently during busy service periods.
• Strong teamwork skills and effective communication with both kitchen and floor staff.
• Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends.
