Checker - Fleet Inspector

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and accountable Fleet Inspector to become part of our logistics team. The chosen candidate will be tasked with examining logistics vehicles, verifying they are safe, roadworthy, and adhere to company standards and operational guidelines.

Primary Duties

• Perform daily and scheduled inspections of logistics vehicles.
• Assess vehicle conditions including tires, brakes, lighting, fluid levels, bodywork, and safety equipment.
• Identify and document any vehicle damages, defects, or maintenance needs.
• Keep precise records of inspections and vehicle checklists.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure prompt repairs and preventive upkeep.
• Track the status of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Confirm vehicles comply with safety and operational criteria before deployment.
• Oversee vehicle cleanliness and general condition.
• Immediately report any safety hazards or critical faults.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant transportation laws.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in fleet inspection, vehicle upkeep, transportation, or logistics is advantageous.
• Good understanding of vehicle parts and fundamental mechanical systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• Able to function well within a dynamic logistics setting.
• Capable of conducting on-site inspections and working flexible hours as necessary.
• Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
