Role Overview
The Chat Support Agent position is a full-time, onsite role located in Maadi, Queensland. Responsibilities include managing live customer interactions via chat, delivering precise and courteous responses, troubleshooting straightforward technical issues, guiding clients through products and services, recording communications, and escalating complex problems appropriately. Agents must adhere to established workflows, achieve performance goals, and collaborate with leadership to optimize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Reliability, schedule adherence, and fostering an inclusive workplace are essential.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in customer service and satisfaction to handle queries, resolve problems, and sustain service quality.
- Technical support knowledge for basic troubleshooting and interpreting user issues by following guidelines.
- Analytical abilities to comprehend customer needs, detect patterns, and offer effective solutions.
- Excellent written communication skills in English, including active listening and maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to work onsite in Maadi, Queensland, comply with structured processes, and meet performance benchmarks.
- Comfortable using multiple software applications and chat platforms; previous BPO or customer service experience is advantageous.
- Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; further studies in communication, IT, or business preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, adjust to changing protocols, and engage in ongoing training and development.
