About the Role
This position is for a Chartered Accountant with expertise in the Import–Export industry, particularly within Coal & Steel sectors. The role demands in-depth understanding of import-export finance, banking operations, and Letters of Credit (LC).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Import–Export banking transactions and LC processing activities.
- Administer Import and Export LCs, including amendments, negotiations, and settlements.
- Liaise with financial institutions concerning LCs, Bank Guarantees (BG), bank credit limits, and working capital requirements.
- Handle comprehensive import/export documentation such as invoices, shipping papers, and bank submissions.
- Supervise foreign currency dealings, payments, and foreign exchange related activities.
- Manage accounting functions including GST, TDS, taxation, audit processes, and financial reporting.
- Ensure prompt reconciliation of bank accounts, LCs, and balances related to vendors and customers.
Eligibility
Qualified Chartered Accountants with relevant experience in import-export finance and compliance can apply.
