About the Role
Azul is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Account Manager to expand its channel partnerships across Australia. This dynamic position requires proactive engagement and enthusiasm to close both small deals and complex multi-million dollar contracts with Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential partners to resell Azul's products through a structured partner program.
- Educate prospective partners about program requirements and expected deliverables.
- Develop new business opportunities based on prospecting and marketing leads.
- Swiftly respond to and qualify inbound partner leads and inquiries.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to strategize and maximize partner productivity.
- Create and implement an effective prospecting strategy targeting new partners in the Australian market.
- Ensure thorough tracking of sales activities and lead qualification using Salesforce (SFDC).
- Provide detailed updates regarding partner recruitment to Account Executives and the Regional VP of Sales.
- Conduct training and enablement sessions for new and existing partners via the partner portal.
- Maintain comprehensive records of partner interactions, including calls, emails, demos, and tasks, in compliance with company policies.
- Be available for occasional regional travel as necessary.
Experience and Skills Required
- At least 10 years of channel sales experience working with leading global partners like SoftwareOne, Insight, SHI, and Logicalis across the UK and Northern Europe.
- Minimum 5 years working knowledge or experience with development platforms or tools.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Prior direct sales experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) and Clari preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated strong negotiating skills.
