Change & Release Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Change & Release Specialist to join a prominent institution in the banking industry located in Riyadh. This role entails overseeing change and release operations for vital banking platforms, ensuring that deployments are executed efficiently, securely, and in alignment with compliance standards.

Key Duties

• Manage the complete lifecycle of change management including issue logging, impact evaluation, securing approvals, and formal closure.
• Coordinate and organize release initiatives involving development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and operational teams.
• Lead and facilitate Change Advisory Board sessions to ensure effective governance.
• Maintain accurate release schedules, deployment strategies, contingency rollback plans, and detailed release documentation.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices, internal corporate policies, and regulatory audit requirements set by SAMA.
• Conduct post-release assessments and promote ongoing enhancements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in change and release management, specifically within the banking sector.
• In-depth understanding of ITIL frameworks with preference for candidates holding ITIL v3 or v4 certifications.
• Proficient hands-on experience using IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
• Knowledgeable about Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent skills in coordination, communication, and risk mitigation.
• Capable of performing efficiently under pressure, especially during critical release periods.
