Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group cello lessons designed to suit students of varied skill levels and needs.
• Instruct students in Grade 1 to Grade 5 music theory and aural training.
• Design and adapt lesson plans and curriculum to fulfill each student's musical objectives and developmental goals.
• Coach students in preparation for ABRSM exams, recitals, concerts, music festivals, and competitions.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of string instruments and actively promote them to parents.
• Undertake additional operational tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Holds at least a Bachelor's degree specializing in Cello Music Performance.
• Possesses a minimum of two years of teaching experience with cello students spanning all expertise levels.
• Strong understanding of music theory, repertoire, and performance techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students to achieve their maximum potential.
• Preference given to candidates with piano accompaniment skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting remuneration is SGD 4000 monthly, supplemented by a flexible bonus program. There are opportunities for professional growth including training programs and participation in teacher conferences.
