CCTV Technician

Role Overview

JAS Infotech, located in Madurai, is seeking a dedicated full-time CCTV Technician for field operations. The work schedule is Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Monthly salary ranges between ₹15,000 and ₹22,000, dependent on expertise and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service various CCTV cameras including IP and HD models
• Set up and maintain DVR/NVR systems
• Diagnose and resolve CCTV malfunctions efficiently
• Perform camera cabling, crimping, and testing tasks
• Configure LAN networks and Wi-Fi for surveillance systems
• Install network switches and PoE switches
• Install and service biometric attendance systems
• Set up door access control systems including basic configurations
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical support to customers
• Configure mobile remote viewing for surveillance cameras
• Keep accurate records of service and installation activities
• Ensure timely completion of assigned field service visits
• Maintain professional communication with customers

Candidate Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, or certification in Hardware & Networking preferred
• Experience in CCTV installation or servicing is advantageous
• Fundamental knowledge of IP networking, including IP addressing, LAN, routers, and Wi-Fi, is required
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply
• Must be willing to travel to various customer locations
• Ownership of a two-wheeler is mandatory
• A valid driving license is preferred
• Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn
