CCTV Technician

About the Role

JENX Digitech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a CCTV Technician to handle the installation, configuration, testing, and upkeep of CCTV surveillance systems at manufacturing facilities and project locations. The position demands hands-on troubleshooting abilities, adherence to safety protocols, and willingness to travel across India.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and commission both IP and analogue surveillance cameras along with NVRs, DVRs, PoE switches, and related equipment.
• Execute Cat6 and fiber optic cable installation, including laying, termination, labeling, and testing, as well as installing conduits and cable trays.
• Properly position cameras, adjust viewing angles, focus, and ensure image clarity based on approved plans.
• Configure settings such as IP addresses, recording schedules, storage parameters, motion detection, and authorized remote access.
• Identify and resolve issues regarding camera connectivity, recording errors, power failures, and video quality.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning cameras, verifying connections, and checking recordings.
• Assist with integrating CCTV systems into Video Management Systems as directed by project engineers.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, camera inventories, IP configurations, service reports, and materials used.
• Collaborate with project engineers, clients, and onsite teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Comply with safety regulations, use personal protective equipment, adhere to permit protocols, and work safely at heights.
• Provide basic system demonstrations and support during client handover phases.
• Respond to service requests and travel as necessary across Indian project sites.
