CCTV Technician

Job Summary

This role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV surveillance systems at various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure CCTV cameras along with DVR/NVR systems and associated monitoring devices.
• Manage wiring, cabling, connectors, and electrical power connections required for CCTV installations.
• Configure IP cameras including network parameters and enable remote viewing capabilities.
• Identify and resolve issues related to cameras, recording devices, connectivity, and system performance.
• Conduct periodic maintenance checks and thorough system inspections.
• Replace defective system components such as cameras, cables, adapters, and hard drives when necessary.
• Work closely with customers to provide technical assistance and resolve queries.
• Document installation and service activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of CCTV technology, including DVR/NVR and IP cameras.
• Understanding of networking basics such as LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and the TCP/IP protocol.
• Proficiency in handling basic electrical and networking tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various client locations for fieldwork.

Qualification and Experience

• Preferred qualifications include ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related disciplines.
• Fresh candidates are welcome to apply; prior experience in CCTV installation offers an advantage.
• A valid driving license is desirable for field assignments.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position entailing on-site field work.

Compensation

The offered monthly salary ranges between INR 18,000 and INR 30,000.
