Job description
Role Overview
The CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, upkeep, and repair of CCTV surveillance systems including cameras, DVR/NVR devices, and associated security hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and configure CCTV cameras and recording equipment effectively.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve technical faults in security systems.
- Handle cable routing and wiring to ensure neat and safe installations.
- Verify camera placements for optimum coverage and functionality.
- Provide essential customer support related to CCTV system queries and issues.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with networking concepts, IP-based cameras, and general security systems is considered advantageous.
