Category Manager

Position Overview

Yerevan City Supermarket is expanding its retail operations and is seeking skilled and motivated Category Managers to join the team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage key product categories and collaborate with prominent local and international brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop assigned product categories, which include beverages, alcoholic drinks, snacks, confectionery, and other FMCG segments.
• Oversee pricing strategies, margin optimization, promotional planning, assortment decisions, and supplier negotiations to drive category growth.
• Perform sales performance analysis to detect growth opportunities and implement appropriate actions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with both local and international suppliers.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced in category management, purchasing, or commercial roles within supermarkets, FMCG companies, distribution, or retail sectors.
• Solid understanding of pricing, margin management, promotions, assortment planning, and supplier negotiation tactics.
• Strong analytical skills to assess sales performance and identify growth avenues.
• Proficient in Armenian, Russian, and English languages.
• Professional, responsible, hardworking, and results-oriented mindset.
