Role Overview
We invite an experienced Category Manager to join us full-time on-site in Tbilisi. You will be responsible for defining category strategies, managing product selections, and scrutinizing market trends to optimize profitability and enhance customer satisfaction. Key daily duties include engaging in supplier negotiations, planning procurement, assessing sales outcomes, and pinpointing growth and enhancement possibilities within your product categories.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute category strategies that align with Minty Market's objectives.
- Optimize product assortments to maintain an ideal balance and stock levels.
- Analyze market data and continuously track category performance indicators.
- Lead contract negotiations and foster robust relationships with suppliers.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to promote category expansion.
- Spot opportunities for product innovation and improvements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in category management and procurement activities.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market trends, data, and performance metrics.
- Experience in sales approaches to enhance category outcomes.
- Proven negotiation skills and supplier relationship handling.
- Excellent organizational skills, decision-making ability, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
- Prior experience in retail or FMCG sectors is beneficial.
- Capacity to efficiently collaborate within a fast-paced, on-site team setting.
