Role Overview
This vacancy is for a full-time Cashier stationed in Jeddah. The main responsibility is managing customer transactions, which includes scanning items, payment processing using cash, card, and digital methods, issuing receipts, and balancing the cash drawer daily. The candidate will also maintain an orderly checkout space and assist customers by answering basic queries regarding products and prices, while addressing minor transaction concerns professionally.
Additional duties involve supporting other store tasks such as helping with packing, working collaboratively with teammates, and adhering to company rules and protocols.
Requirements
- Capable of accurately and responsibly handling all forms of transactions including cash, card, and digital payments.
- Though not mandatory, possessing at least five years of cashier or retail experience is considered a plus.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail technologies.
- Excellent customer service abilities with effective communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills, attention to detail for accurate sales recording, counting, and reconciling money on a daily basis.
