Cashier (Midnight Shift)

Job Overview

Join the team at Lotte Duty Free Singapore located in Changi Airport as a Cashier working the midnight shift. This full-time role involves rotating shifts from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM with a weekly commitment of 42.5 hours, inclusive of a 1-hour unpaid break within a 9.5 hour shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process sales transactions, handle diverse payment methods including foreign currencies, and perform cash reconciliations at shift end.
• Welcome customers warmly, respond to their questions, resolve any issues, and actively promote products to enhance sales performance.
• Maintain tidiness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring sufficient supplies such as receipt paper rolls and shopping bags are available.
• Carry out daily cleaning responsibilities to uphold a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum qualification: N-Level or equivalent.
• No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Basic proficiency in computer operations.
• Willingness and ability to work in retail under shift-based hours.
• Comfortable handling restricted products such as liquor and tobacco.
• Must be at least 21 years old, in compliance with the Tobacco Act.
