Key Responsibilities

• Politely and warmly welcome every customer.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Promote Walmart's sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Assist customers with packing and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe work procedures including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Ensure register security and accuracy by following cash handling policies and staying vigilant of surroundings.
• Direct customers to a Customer Service Manager when specific service or transaction needs arise.

Compensation

The position has a starting hourly wage of $17.75 CAD.
