Role Overview

The position of Cashier is a full-time, on-site opportunity where the incumbent will handle various responsibilities related to customer transactions and front-end store operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Process customer payments accurately using cash and electronic payment methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure the cash register balances at the end of each shift.
• Greet customers warmly and provide answers to basic product and pricing inquiries.
• Manage product returns and exchanges according to store policies.
• Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area throughout the workday.
• Coordinate with store personnel to facilitate smooth operational flow.
• Support promotional campaigns and help enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in cash handling with strong basic math skills to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Customer-oriented with strong communication abilities and a courteous professional demeanor.
• Detail-focused, dependable, and capable of following established store procedures and guidelines.
• Physically able to stand for prolonged periods and adaptable to working flexible shifts in a busy retail setting.
• Prior cashier or retail experience is beneficial; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems are advantageous.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Strong numerical and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Must be proficient in Arabic language.
