Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer with courtesy and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise as per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) procedures.
• Actively promote company-supported programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives.
• Provide assistance to customers with bagging their purchases and loading items.
• Adhere to safe working practices, including correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register through careful cash handling, compliance with company policies, and situational awareness.
• Escalate relevant service or transaction issues to the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old or older.
