Overview

Kamat Annaleela, a reputed restaurant located in Colaba Causeway, Mumbai, is looking to hire a full-time Restaurant Cashier. The role involves managing the billing counter, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transactions through cash, UPI, and card payments.
• Use POS or billing software to generate customer bills accurately.
• Keep detailed and precise records of cash and sales transactions daily.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries at the billing counter professionally.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service teams to maintain workflow.
• Assist in maintaining basic accounting documentation related to sales.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Educational background preferably with a B.Com degree.
• Candidates who have completed 12th grade with relevant cashier, billing, or accounting experience are also welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in restaurant or retail cashier roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Petpooja, is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Good communication abilities along with strong numerical aptitude.
• Attributes such as honesty, punctuality, and responsibility are essential.
• Ability to join immediately is preferred.
• Open to freshers, although relevant experience is appreciated.

Work Schedule and Location

• The role requires working 10-hour shifts, with flexibility between two shifts: 7 AM to 5 PM or 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
• Work location is onsite at the Colaba outlet in Mumbai.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 based on experience and skills.
