Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Kannur East requires a Cashier responsible for accurately handling customer transactions. Duties include processing payments via cash, cards, and digital methods, issuing receipts, greeting customers politely, responding to basic inquiries, and keeping the checkout area tidy and orderly. The role involves reconciling cash drawers at shift start and end, assisting with price verification, coordinating with store staff to resolve billing discrepancies, and adhering to company policies on refunds, exchanges, and discounts. The Cashier must deliver courteous and efficient service while maintaining HLF Group's standards for customer satisfaction and financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Capable of accurately managing cash, card, and digital payment transactions responsibly
• Excellent customer service skills demonstrated through clear communication and professional demeanor
• Basic math and computer proficiency to operate POS systems and associated software
• Strong attention to detail and dependability for cash drawer reconciliation and transaction record keeping
• Ability to stand for long durations and perform well in a fast-paced retail or service setting
• Previous experience as cashier, retail clerk, or front-desk attendant preferred but not mandatory
• Availability to work assigned shifts including weekends and holidays as required
• High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification is advantageous
