Key Duties

• Warmly welcome every customer with professionalism and friendliness.
• Complete purchase transactions swiftly and accurately, including merchandise deactivation according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program standards.
• Encourage customers to participate in company-sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Provide assistance with bagging and loading purchased items for customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Safeguard register security by following cash handling procedures and being alert to surroundings.
• Refer customer service and transaction issues to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
