Role Overview

The Carpet Merchandiser position is a full-time, onsite role located in Bhadohi. The individual will manage the carpet product portfolio, work closely with production teams to ensure alignment of designs, colors, and quality with buyer expectations and trends in the market. Daily responsibilities include preparing product presentations, managing sample collections, updating catalogs, and providing accurate product details to support sales efforts. The role requires communication with customers and suppliers to handle inquiries, monitor orders, and assist in pricing and negotiations within set parameters. Collaboration with marketing and retail teams is essential to enhance merchandising displays and promotional campaigns aimed at boosting sales.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience in sales and retail to support product placement, follow-up on orders, and merchandising within stores or showrooms.
• Basic understanding of marketing to aid in product promotions, visual merchandising, and analyzing market trends.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational aptitude for maintaining sample inventories, catalog accuracy, and product data management.
• Knowledge of carpet materials, designs, and manufacturing processes; textile or floor covering experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital communication and reporting tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Bhadohi and effectively operate in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Diploma or degree in business, textiles, marketing, or related disciplines preferred.
