Carpenter (Manual & Modular)

Job Overview

Seeking experienced carpenters for both manual and modular carpentry tasks focused on interior residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry tasks for interior spaces including homes and commercial buildings.
• Interpret and work from measurements, drawings, and design plans effectively.
• Create and install wardrobes, modular kitchens, cabinets, TV stands, partitions, doors, and various furniture items.
• Utilize materials such as plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, veneer, and solid wood.
• Precisely measure, cut, fit, align, and finish wood components to meet standards.
• Operate hand and power carpentry tools safely and skillfully.
• Collaborate with interior designers, supervisors, and onsite personnel to ensure coordinated project execution.
• Deliver work that meets quality benchmarks within agreed timelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of tools and materials at the job location.

Requirements and Preferred Expertise

• Minimum 2 years and up to 15 years of carpentry experience, with 2-5 years particularly in interior carpentry.
• Strong understanding of modular furniture construction and installation.
• Capability to independently manage cutting, assembling, installation, and finishing processes.
• Accurate in measurement handling and leveling techniques.
• Ability to work at various residential and commercial sites reliably and responsibly.
• Experience with modular kitchen installation, wardrobe and cabinet fabrication, false ceiling and partition carpentry, laminate and veneer applications, door and furniture fitting preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC-machined furniture is an advantageous skill.
• Traits required include punctuality, diligence, and a sense of responsibility.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration ranges between 18,000 and 30,000 INR.
