Role Summary

The full-time on-site Carpenter position involves working hands-on with interior fitout and renovation assignments. Responsibilities encompass measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wooden structures, cabinetry, and fixtures. Daily duties include interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, operating hand and power tools, performing framing and finish carpentry tasks, ensuring installations comply with quality standards and workplace safety guidelines. Collaboration with supervisors, designers, and other trades, maintaining a tidy work environment, and following company procedures are integral to this role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in carpentry focused on interior fit-outs and customized installations
• Proficient use of power and hand tools for wood cutting, shaping, and assembly
• Experience with framing for structural support and layout of partitions and built-in units
• Finish carpentry skills for accurate fitting of doors, trims, cabinetry, and decorative woodwork
• Relevant experience in Singapore residential or commercial interior projects with familiarity of local building codes
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical blueprints and measurements
• Strong emphasis on quality workmanship, detail orientation, and safety compliance
• Effective communication abilities and teamwork skills, coupled with dependability in meeting deadlines and objectives
• Vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related trade preferred; extensive practical experience considered acceptable
