Caregiver

Overview

At HomeWell Care Services, we honor our employees with dignity, compassion, and respect, recognizing their vital role in the home care sector. We seek devoted Caregivers to join our team committed to improving seniors' quality of life daily. This role involves one-on-one interaction with clients, delivering various non-medical support services to help seniors remain independently in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Perform light cooking and household cleaning tasks.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting needs.
• Support clients with mobility and provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands when required.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Preferred CNA or HHA certification, or alternatively, a minimum of 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time experience caring for elderly or chronically ill individuals.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Access to reliable transportation; valid driver's license and auto insurance mandatory if transporting clients.
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) test documentation.
• Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Maturity, dependability, punctuality, and a caring nature.
• Successful completion of a national criminal background check as required by law.
