Role Overview

This full-time role based in Bhopal requires onsite presence. As a Career Counselor, you will conduct both individual and group sessions guiding students through exploration of academic options, understanding potential career paths, and selecting appropriate courses and universities in India and abroad. Daily tasks include evaluating student interests and aptitudes, hosting informational sessions, meticulously documenting counseling interactions, and performing follow-ups to monitor student progress and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assess and understand students’ academic interests and aptitudes to facilitate personalized counseling.
• Facilitate one-on-one and group counseling sessions to explore educational and career options.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Employ AI-powered and digital tools to enhance counseling effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay informed about evolving education trends and admission procedures.
• Engage in workshops, seminars, and outreach programs to broaden student engagement and awareness.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students and their families, providing unbiased and confidential advice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Career Counseling, Student Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management techniques.
• Excellent communication abilities including active listening and clear presentation skills.
• Prior experience supporting students or young professionals within academic or guidance environments is preferred.
• A graduate or postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Management, or related fields is desirable.
• Knowledge of Indian and international higher education systems and admission processes is advantageous.
• Familiarity with utilizing digital platforms, customer relationship management software, and basic office applications for managing student data.
• Demonstrates strong ethical standards, empathy, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, student-centered workplace.
