Job Overview
The Care Advisor role involves responding to customer inquiries via telephone following established protocols to deliver excellent service. The incumbent manages inbound and outbound calls, documents interactions, and collaborates with management to ensure outstanding support. This role requires maintaining detailed records, resolving issues efficiently, and updating customer information within the company database.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer-focused solutions by addressing concerns and inquiries effectively.
- Communicate updates to clients adhering to company policies and service timelines.
- Handle inbound calls and support specific customer or provider questions.
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, additional documentation, second opinions, and complaint resolution.
- Promote awareness and interest in company products and services.
- Maintain accurate and updated client information in the database.
- Record details of conversations and follow through with necessary actions.
- Coordinate closely with team leaders and assistant managers to ensure smooth communication.
- Complete all clerical duties to finalize each customer interaction, including liaising with other departments.
- Analyze problems thoroughly and develop logical resolutions within defined limits.
- Manage pre-approval claims exceeding standard turnaround times to guarantee timely processing.
- Issue Guarantee of Payment documents to support seamless service delivery.
- Adapt to AI-driven and cloud-based tools responsibly adhering to data governance and security standards.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree; preference for candidates with a medical background.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in call center or customer service settings; exposure to TPA hospitals or medical centers is advantageous.
- Physically capable of fulfilling job duties.
- Legal authorization to work in the UAE.
- Proficient with MS Office applications and comfortable navigating the internet for research.
