Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Caravan Salesperson to join our Launceston dealership. This role involves working mainly within a small team but also independently at times, with self-motivation being essential. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the caravan industry, though backgrounds in boating or automotive sales are also valued. Duties will include working at the dealership and representing the brand at caravan leisure shows and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with prospective customers to promote and secure orders for caravans.
- Demonstrate products and services to assist customers in selecting the best options for their needs.
- Research and identify new potential customers and gather insights about their potential demands.
- Prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers.
- Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams to coordinate sales efforts.
- Analyze competitors' products and services to identify market positioning.
- Provide management with reports on customer feedback, market trends, and competitive activities.
- Achieve agreed sales targets in partnership with the Dealer Manager.
- Stay informed about product applications, market conditions, promotional activities, and technical services.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold current Australian working rights.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrate excellent sales and customer service abilities.
- Capable of identifying and exceeding customer expectations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Positive attitude and problem-solving interest.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in time management, task prioritization, and personal organization.
