Car Detailer - Full Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Car Detailer to join the Avis Budget Group team in Saint Louis, MO. This position involves hands-on, outdoor work preparing rental vehicles to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and readiness for customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean vehicles by washing, vacuuming, and sanitizing interiors to maintain superior quality and presentation.
• Remove all trash and prepare the vehicle for the next customer rental.
• Refuel vehicles and inspect fluid levels, tire pressure, and dashboard warning lights to ensure mechanical readiness.
• Check for any exterior body damage and perform routine vehicle organization by moving and parking cars across airport lots as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work effectively outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, and tolerate moderate noise levels.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 15 pounds and performing activities such as standing, walking, bending, entering and exiting vehicles, and driving various vehicle models.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including all times as required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Regular on-site attendance is mandatory; remote work is not an option for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of $15.50 with possible shift premium.
• Bi-weekly pay schedule (weekly for New York and Puerto Rico).
